Hardships and Difficulties while doing the Gnostic Work

Hardships are a common theme throughout life, and are not uncommon in our inner work. In the later case they can take on a different note, and that’s because of the nature of the spiritual work. By this I do not mean that life becomes harder when the inner work is applied, but rather that we become more conscious of life’s hardships. In a normal case (that of a person who is not doing the inner work), they would go through hardships in a mechanical way, half-conscious of the suffering that they go through. Many then look for some sort of relief by indulging into different pleasures of life in order to forget the pain, not wanting to know that this pendulum of pleasure and pain will not resolve the issue that they are dealing with. The Third Eye by Lobsang Rampa (book review)

“The Third Eye” was the first book of an author called Tuesday Lobsang Rampa, published in 1956, soon afterwards to become a global bestseller. The story of this author is quite interesting. Lobsang Rampa was supposedly an advanced Tibetan lama who lived in the 19th century Tibet. Some time after he passed away from his life, an Englishman was contacted through a metaphysical mean in the 20th century, and was asked if he is willing to let go of his physical body so that a Tibetan lama Lobsang Rampa could use it, because the latter had a mission to fulfill and he needed a mature body that he could use. Experience of Clairvoyance during “Om Namah Shivaya” mantra

It is said that spiritual perceptions and experiences of such kind are gifts from divine beings, as well as our own Being. These type of experiences can come when we least expect them, giving us a flavour of our latent potential and helping us peak “beyond the veil”. This is what happened to me during my time in Canada. I spent about a week in a retreat center, somewhere in the forests of Ontario. The area was gorgeous with many lakes, beautiful lush forests, and a rich animal life. During one of the mornings we gathered in the practice room (which was actually a tent) to chant the mantra Om Namah Shivaya. Continue reading

Is Fearing and Avoiding Astral Realms Necessary?

Astral travel is a fantastic ability that many would like to develop, but for many this thought of consciously stepping out of their body brings up fear, not knowing if they will come back, or fearing the unknown etc. On top of that, some 19th century occult writers, such as Helena Blavatsky, have also contributed to spreading this fear of astral planes by saying that it’s better to avoid it all together because of its illusionary nature and temptation that is to be found there. However, there is much more to the astral realms then what has been said by Theosophists and those who fear travelling there. Continue reading

Transformative Effects of Out of Body Experiences

It is not unknown that those who have had out of body experiences (OBE), regardless of how they occurred, have had an experience that changed them in some way. It is also not uncommon that these types of experiences can change the course of people’s lives. One of a famous case of such occurrence was Robert Monroe, one of the pioneers in the research on out of body experiences. He was a regular citizen, not really standing out from the rest, until he started experiencing spontaneous OBEs in his 50’s. This changed the course of his life, and he had these experiences frequently until the end of his life. He said both in his books and in interviews that out of body experiences completely changed his life, enhancing it for the better. Continue reading

Using Winter To Deepen Practices and Ground in Consciousness

Since early on I felt that winter is a great time to go deeper with practices, and to apply more efforts into making them work. Traditionally in civilization, winter time was used to rest and to prepare for the new season. This was especially so in agriculture line of work, but also in other areas that people worked in. People were preparing for winter during autumn, and then during winter they did very little work and spent most of their time resting. Everything slowed down in winter – people, animals, and nature itself. In such way, nature shows us that, as winter is a time when everything stays still and is at the point of ‘death’, that we too should slow down. Continue reading

More About the Spiritual Ascension Course

The Spiritual Ascension course is the main activity offered here because it entails presenting the path to complete awakening in a direct and step-by-step way. The goal of this course is to help people to ascend spiritually in a very deep way. I have composed it based on many years of studying and practicing the Gnostic and Esoteric teachings. The course draws from understanding and knowledge that I got by practicing the teachings of Master Samael Aun Weor and Master Belsebuub. One of the main reasons why I composed it is to present the path to awakening in a way that is very straightforward and clear, so to help others to not get lost in too much theory and wonderings about whether they should do this or that.
