Fanatical worship

“Ananda said to the Buddha: “I think there has never been a teacher as great as you, nor will there ever be one as great in the future.”

The Buddha asked: “Have you known all the awakened ones, the buddhas of the past?”

“No, Honored One.”

“And are you able to know all the buddhas of the future?”

“No, Honored One.”

“Then I suppose you do know this awakened one’s mind completely?”

“No, Honored One, I do not even know your mind completely.”

“Then how can you make such a bold statement? It is better to talk what you know than to speculate foolishly.”

– Majjhima Nikaya

There are many  such examples around the world. People seeing there guru/savior/god  as the most developed person that ever existed.  Usually, such blinding viewpoint can hinder a person to get to a knowledge of reality and truth, because they are locking themselves in a very limiting mindset that is ruled by illusion.

Memories from Slovakian retreat

It is now over a year since the retreat in Slovakia took place. It was my first big spiritual retreat which had about 50 participants from different places around the world, such as Canada, Australia, Greece, UK etc. We were accommodated in chalets in the middle of the Carpathian mountain. Close to us flowed a big stream which added a lot to the atmosphere of the place. As we arrived a teacher gave us a room schedule, and after we were accommodated the retreat has officially started. We set our main subject of practical investigation for the duration of the retreat. That subject was astral travel and the goal was to investigate astral projection and to increase chances of having it through methods such as waking up in astral from dreams and projecting directly to the astral.

The next day we went for an awareness walk in the morning in an amazing natural area. We soon arrived at a big meadow surrounded by mountains full of trees, with a stream flowing close to us. After sitting in a circle we commenced with a meditative practice followed by a discussion about some practical aspects of the esoteric teachings. The walk continued and we set a goal to do at least fifty reality checks. (Reality checks are checks where one questions the reality in which one is in, with the purpose of waking up in a dream.)

I have found this particular walk to be very strong. I was uplifted by the group strength and group effort to be aware of the present moment, which made it easier for me to be aware. I felt peaceful and in tune with the nature around me. After that we had practical discussions and practices such as mantras, concentration and astral projection.

On a third day a teacher who organized the retreat surprised us when he arrived to the retreat with Edith Pritchard. She is the wife of Mark Pritchard (Belzebuub) and has many years of experience of teaching and practicing esoteric teachings. Edith started by giving us an inspirational talk about astral projection and how to achieve it. At that time we were in the main hall of our accommodation centre where we gathered throughout the retreat for talks and some practices.

The next morning at breakfast Edith told us some insightful things about awareness and its relation to spiritual work and astral projection. After that we met in our meeting hall that I previously mentioned. This was a very interesting moment. All fifty of us were there, sitting in silence and doing our best to be aware. Soon Edith came and commented how the energy of the room is now much better. I found this interesting because there really is a lot to our internal state and its influence on environment.

That day we dedicated our entire focus to increasing chances of astral projection, whether through regular practices, reality checks, awareness etc. At the evening we gathered around a bon fire. Teachers that came all the way from Australia guided practices and gave us some insights about astral projection. At one point during that evening we vocalized a mantra which helped me enormously to overcome some negative internal state that I was experiencing. Mantras can be really powerful and can clear our internal emotional and mental mess so that we can see things clearly and objectively.

The fifth and the last day was the most powerful day for me. It was a sunny and pleasantly warm day. We started by having an awareness walk in nature, guided by Edith. Before lunch Edith guided a practice which entailed visualizing ourselves flying out of the planet Earth, into space, flying out of our solar system, through our galaxy and out of it, and then trying to fly beyond all galaxies, with intention to see what is there. We did that while laying down in a meadow. Even though I didn’t have any substantial results from it, I felt something very nice by doing this practice.

Throughout that day we did various practices and had discussions and talks. Edith explained to us some important thing about spiritual path, and those who had questions about it asked her. After dinner she guided a practice which entailed laying in a meadow and looking at the stars. She told us that when we feel down or overwhelmed by our inner negativity, we can look at the stars on a clear night, which can give us strength to move on along the path.

After that we went back to our hall where she gave the last official talk for the retreat. The talk was about the spiritual journey and our spiritual potential, and some other things related to it. After that we all gathered around the bon fire, and just contemplated the fire and reflected on this retreat experience. I cannot put into words how positive was the effect that this evening had on me. Positive is not an adequate word, but I don’t know any word which would describe how I felt then. I noticed that everyone was spiritually affected. There was silence around the fire. It seemed like words were unnecessary at that moment, the moment which I believe was for all of us so alive and filled with deep mystery.

On the next morning we went back to Vienna and Bratislava, from which people caught their airplanes, trains and buses back home. The retreat was over, but the feeling of it stays. Hopefully we can all use what we have gained from that retreat so that we can get closer to that which is real. I’m very grateful to everyone who participated in this retreat, without whom this retreat wouldn’t be what it was, and also to Edith for her precious talks and guidance.

The Water We Seek

Not long ago I found one of poem by Rumi which I found to be inspiring and insightful.  It’s called The Water We Seek

The eye or the spirit that focuses on the transient
falls on its face wherever it goes.
Someone who focuses on the distance,
without knowledge, may see far,
but just as we do in a dream.

Asleep on the bank of a river, lips parched,
you dream you are running toward water.
In the distance you see the water of your desire
and, caught by your seeing, you run toward it.

In the dream you boast,
“I am the one whose heart can see through the veils.”
Yet every step carries you further away
toward the perilous mirage.

From the moment you dreamed you set out
you created the distance
from that which had been near to you.
Many set out on a journey
that leads them farther away from their goal.

The intuitive claims of the sleeper are a fantasy.
You, too, are sleepy; But for God’s sake,
if you must sleep, sleep on the Way of God,
and maybe some other seeker on the Way
will awaken you from your fantasies and slumber.

No matter how subtle the sleeper’s thought becomes,
his dreams will not guide him Home.
Whether the sleeper’s thought is twofold or threefold,
it is error multiplying error.

While he dreams of running through the wilderness,

the waves are lapping so near.

While he dreams of the pangs of thirst,

the water is nearer than his jugular vein.

Life changing benefits of Belzebuub’s teachings (part 2 – Experience)

When I made the decision that I will practice spirituality seriously, I started exploring more the Self-discovery course. I started practice exercises that were taught there, such as awareness, self-observation, detachment from thoughts and emotions, exploring what consciousness is and general study of my subconscious. The main objective of this course was to gain knowledge of oneself, of inner drives, thoughts and emotions, all of which influence our actions and hence our lives. I also learned that those negative subconscious elements (in Gnosis referred to as egos) manifest in five centres of the body. Around that time I started with Esoteric Wisdom course. In this course we learned about main 3 keys of awakening, spiritual path, karma and dharma, dimensions of life, what happens when we die and more. The main 3 keys for awakening are

–  elimination of subconscious elements (egos) – those are things such as anger, greed, fear, jealousy, pride, gluttony, lust etc.

–  alchemy (also known as white tantra), a sexual practice between husband and wife with purpose of using sexual energies to build higher energy bodies

–  helping others spiritually

I started applying the first key (elimination of egos) as soon as I learned it. This is a technique that utilizes higher force to eliminate inferior elements of ourselves. Within every of those elements is trapped a piece of our consciousness, and once we apply the elimination technique to that inferior defect (such as for example anger), tiny percentage of our true self (the consciousness) returns back to the main consciousness that we have available and in this way we wake up from our psychological sleep. Then our true self is literally growing in size, we start feeling superior emotions and much more.

During the first several months of my journey I was having very vivid and significant dreams, with lots of conscious astral experiences, all of which were telling me that I am on the right way and that I should continue. In one of such occasion, on Friday during the dawn, I was taken to a place for which I knew it is a Gnostic church, even though I never heard before that such exist. In it there was a gathering and discussion was about helping humanity. Some two months after this experience I was reading one of Samael Aun Weor’s book called The Three Mountains, and he wrote that there is a specific gathering where higher beings gather on Friday during dawn in Gnostic church with intention to help humanity. Fortunately I had such experiences early on through which I saw that there is indeed something more to Belzebuub’s teachings

As time went by I started applying the first key more fervently. Then after a year of applying it I noticed that I start to perceive things differently; entire environment was bigger, I could perceive more then usual and I was more centered in the present moment. It was unusual at first though I liked this new change. It was a sign that I am on good track and that this technique works. It also gave me first hand experience on how it is to increase consciousness. Over years this change in perception started to intensify and I started to see more of reality. I learned that the more consciousness I rescue, the more of reality I can see. And this is something really amazing.

Since that point till now I experienced and managed to overcome a lot of things through applying the first and the third key of Gnosis. Through astral I verified that Belzebuub is a higher being which energy is of love. The teachings I was applying and am still applying are universal teachings of spiritual development, also taught by great masters that once walked the Earth, such as Buddha, Krishna, Jesus, Lao Tzu, Rumi and many others. It was Samael Aun Weor that unveiled this universal teachings in last century, but Belzebuub clarified them to the detail and made them more revolutionary.

This teachings are very direct and bring deep change. Through them I managed to overcome addictions that I had and have overcame lots of low states in which I was very often dwelling before I found Gnosis. I learned how to detach from my emotions and thoughts and be centered in what I really am – the consciousness. Through practices of awareness, self-observation and the first key I learned what is consciousness (the real me) and what is subconscious. I found joy and peace in simplicity and by increasing my consciousness and decreasing egos I started having love, compassion and understanding for people, not just for my family and friends but also for strangers.

I saw that when I am clouded by negative state such as anger or fear that this filters how I see the world and distort reality, and that when I am clear of those states that I am objective and see reality as it is. In this way, as I was trying to be clear as much as possible throughout the day, my relationships and communication with various people improved drastically. I learned how to be detached in a situation when someone is angry at me and how to tackle with situations of similar kind.

It’s hard to put in words how precious this teachings are, and to enumarate all the benefits it brough to my life. I would recommend everyone who found this teachings to give them a try.

Life changing benefits of Belzebuub’s teachings (part 1 – Background)

My interest in spirituality started when I was talking to someone about one of my childhood experience. The person told me that he knows of some other people that experienced the same thing. Even though what I experienced that time wasn’t related to out of body experience, the person told me that I could find out about what I saw by travelling out of body, the process commonly known as astral projection. I will never forget my reaction when I heard that something like this is possible. I was shocked, but in a very joyful way. It was like someone gave me the key for something that I longed for for a long time, but without really knowing thus far that I had the longing for that key.

I asked him many things about the astral, I wanted to know as much as possible. He told me that it is a dimension where one can get answers that are unavailable in this physical world. Soon afterwards he gave me a thin book about the subject, containing mostly brief history of astral projection and some techniques on how to achieve it. I was very excited about it, and decided to give it a go. However, in the same time I started to get pulled more and more into pleasures of mundane life. I was around 16 at the time and was keen to do popular things like going to parties and bars. My interest in mundane activities started to intensify from that point onwards so I put astral projection to a side.

When I was 17 I heard about Carlos Castaneda and his books. He was anthropologist that went to Mexico to study about an effects of some psychotropic plants. However, his initial study intention was replaced when he met a shaman that started teaching him about deeper and multidimensional side of life. I enjoyed his books even though I didn’t really understand them very much, but nevertheless they were making me aware of spiritual side of life, amidst the sea of mundane pleasures in which I was entrapped at the time.

When I was 18 I discovered a new book called Adventures Beyond the Body by William Buhlman. I was very happy when I borrowed it in a local library. I remember it was Friday, and usually I was very addicted to going out on Weekends, but as I started reading this book I didn’t cared much about going out that night. I ended up reading entire book in one go. The book was a compilation of the experiences of the writer and through it I became aware of many new potentials of travelling out of body. However, I was still very much addicted to socialization, social gatherings and parties, and many things that goes with it. I graduated high school at that age, and soon afterwards I moved to a new city to continue my studies, which in my eyes meant new opportunities for social gatherings, beyond restrictions of my parents.

About one year after that, a friend visited me where I lived during my studies, and conversation moved in a spiritual direction. We talked about spiritual things and astral projection. We decided that together we will investigate about astral projection and how to astral project. It was after that talk that my yearning for unknown got ignited again. I started gathering information about OBE’s (out of body experiences). Among many things I came across at that time, I found Robert Bruce works to be practical so I started applying some of his techniques. I remember one of such event, it was summer afternoon. I decided I will do “the rope technique”. This technique consist of imaging climbing an imaginary rope with imaginary hands. Some 15 minutes after I started having vibrational sensations in my body. Fear took over so I stopped the practice. I was aware of those sensations and that they are a natural part of the process of astral projection, but I was surprised that this started to happen so fast.

Around that time I found a website called Mysticweb. The website offered free courses on astral projection to which I gladly enrolled. It also had a nice chatroom which I often visited. I enjoyed the course and the chat very much, and people there were nice. The course  was very practical and simple, explaing in a step by step way how to astral project and use time out of body wisely. I found out that this website is also offering two other courses which deal with self-discovery and spiritual journey. The author of all the courses was spiritual teacher called Belzebuub.

I enrolled to self-discovery course but I didn’t really practiced the techniques.  I had an obstacle that was preventing me from starting a journey of self-discovery. I was also still addicted to social gatherings. About a year after that I managed to overcome the obstacle that was preventing me from delving into self-discovery. Immediately I stopped with all serious addictions that I had and I enrolled to the third course that Mysticweb (which then changed name to Gnosticweb) was offering. It was the course called Esoteric Wisdom and it was a practical course on starting ones own spiritual journey. From that point onward started a new chapter in my life.
